Am new to photography but have recently got the bug in a big way!

I love taking photos when I get the chance to travel, although have only had a very basic point and shoot camera until fairly recently. I now have a DSLR, but have a lot to learn! I particularly enjoy taking portraits.

I've created a new Flickr group, "Plantations Around the World". I've been privileged to meet many people who live and work on plantation estates whilst doing a research project in Sri Lanka.
