Photons fail me's photostream

I confess: photography wasn't even a hobby for me. It was always a means by which to record for posterity a moment in time. But I was always fond of taking pictures.
Now I have branched out and turned photography into a hobby. I have no idea what this precisely entails. Nor do I have any clue as to where this might go.
I'm not an artist. I'm not certain I'm a "photographer" either. Saying I'm a "photographer" makes me sound like a professional, which I'm not. I'm just some tall guy with a camera who enjoys being behind the camera more than any other part of the photographic process.
