I am in the field a ton in the spring and summer so pardon my absence during that period.
... ideas I'm currently digging ...
a) grain can be real sweet (my Fuji 9100S at ISO >800 is a real champ at this :)
b) wide is wonderful, those Canon ELPH's are extraordinary
c) movement makes a photograph
d) long exposures are like puzzles (fun when you get them)
e) presets on Lightroom - save your post processing scheme in order to revisit it, I have an HDR one I'm working on for LR2 (for fun)
f) notes make a photo - artists, please add some detail, emotion, situation, friction - whatever, it brings the viewer in for a second or third look.
g) inspire with photography. people will listen.
