I'm a sub editor (copy editor) on a weekly magazine here in the UK. With my former chief sub Apus, I write The Engine Room, a light-hearted blog about language use, publishing and the media in general.
I'm using my Flickr account to display some of the more amusing or striking photos from the blog, as well as a few other snaps.
I also run the Flickr group Sub editors untie! for photos that show clever or amusing headlines, interesting points of language use, prominent editing or spelling mistakes, typography, and work/lifestyle shots from editorial staff.
