I started out by uploading photos that have been on my old Geocities website, which disappeared in late October 2009. Now that I've gotten most of those here, I'm adding some of the "artistic" photos I've had on DeviantArt (songdogmi.deviantart.com) along with some recent shots. Over the years, I've specialized in landscapes, nature, and a little bit of urban scenes, as well as taking self-pics. This is actually the first time I've really combined the self-pics with what I consider my "real" photography, which probably always has been a false distinction.

In March 2010, I started copying images from my Live Journal Scrapbook to Flickr, mostly to consolidate things. I'll be adding tags and other metadata over the next little while (i.e., it's not all there yet). I've also started scanning in prints from road trips I took back in the 1990s. That process has been highly entertaining to me, especially the part about reliving the driving and the places I've seen.

I've just started adding favorites from other Flickr-ers (Feb. 12, 2011).
