Photography has been a hobby on and off for most of my adult life. With the advent of digital imaging and the ability to manipulate the 'print' again, my interest has come alive once more.

I joined Flickr in April of 2008. What an amazing 'place', full of people who share a love for portraying life in little squares, rectangles and splashes of color.

Photography allows me to be surrounded with beautiful things; life's too short to let the world's troubles bring you down. With or without a camera in hand I can look for the interesting, the wonderful, the awe inspiring. When things go well, there is an image to remind me of that moment. If things go really well, I get a warm feeling deep in my soul and am reminded that God is always near.
