I love knitting, I love photography, a perfect combination for flickr, don't you think?

Now, if only my photography was half as good as my knitting, lol.

I'm a water treatment engineer by training, but gave that all up for Mamique Desings and Photography; my true passions in life. I am a wife, a mommy, a knitter, a photographer, and recently, an entrepreneur. I love my Tushie Wrap™, Nappy Disguise™ and Newborn Peanut Wrap, and I am so ecstatic that Mamique Designs has grown so huge in such a short time.

Twins - Nature - Dark & Light

Since starting on Flickr, which initially was to showcase my knitting projects, I have fallen in love with photography! I've been inspired by the wonderful images and photographers on Flickr. I have so much to learn still and at times it feels like I should just give up, but I'm hopeful that one day I'll get it.

I welcome critiques (read: constructive criticism, lol), so please stop by some of my photos and tell me what you really think, and if you have ideas on how I could make them better, please don't hesitate to tell me. I want to learn!

As for my knitting, I am constantly creating new designs. My mind never seems to stop and there aren't enough hours in the day to bring all of my ideas to life. The Tushie Wrap™ has taken the world by storm. It is almost too hard to fathom that no one has thought of this design for use in newborn photography before. Yet here it is and I claim ownership :-). Since launching this design in August 2008, others started creating knock offs of this copyrighted design, so I am eternally grateful to anyone who continues to support the original.
