I am an open-minded, fiscal conservative, recovering artist.

I used to do scenic art and set design in Hollywood (mostly TV and commercials). What a pit. Left town and hadn't taken a photo in years after dropping everything even remotely artistic from my life. Changed my life completely.

Got a little Canon point and shoot a few years back and am starting to have fun with the visual game again. Since then I did some gear upgrades. I also dug out my Nikon FE2, took it in for an overhaul, and got it some new batteries (love that old tank).
