I am almost blind and see only 10% in average. I just try to do my best. My perception of light and colours is not yours.

As a youngster, I received a 11tth prize in 1985 in a national amateurish contest organized by a French cycling magazine around the Tour de France. In 1987, I received a prize in a photographic contest organized by my town for a photograph of fog on the Seine river. 20 years later, in 2008, the publisher of the Schmap guides on internet has chosen one of my shots to figure out in the 6th edition of the Schmap touristic guide on Copenhagen. This same year, NowPublic.com has also chosen some of my shots to illustrate an article about Copenhagen.

I essentially like to photograph nature, natural landscapes, lights, clouds, all beautiful manifestations of nature which I can observe even in my daily life. But, thanks to my recent conversion to digital photography, I have discovered some of the other aspects of photography : portraits, photography of objects, streets, monuments, social or documentary photography (in Ukraine for example)... And, thanks to the use of Photoshop as a kind of synthesizer, I enjoy also to create abstract pictures with different effects and aspects.
