Thanks for taking the time to check out my photos!

I have always had a strong interest in photography (looking at & creating) but just bought my first 'real camera' (a Nikon D50) in October 2006. I took a beginning photography course in January '06, and now literally take my camera with me everywhere I go, every day. I am becoming more and more serious about my photography, and would like to upgrade cameras soon, and begin taking a more 'professional' track. (Particularly in animal photography & pet portraits.)
