Using Nikon Coolpix S600 for several years, for all-purpose and convenience shooting (fits in my handbag). Using Sony a300 DSLR since early 2009. Favorite lenses are Minolta AF 100mm macro (from old film camera Minolta Maxxum days), and Tamron 75-300 1:4-5.6 Tele-macro. I also borrow spouse's 500 mm mirror reflex lens now and then.

My newest toy is an Olympus EP-2 or PEN, which I absolutely love for being lightweight and simple to use. The lenses also swap out with spouse's Panasonic Lumix lenses, so I have a range of zooms available there but the 15-45 kit lens works great for close and macro shots.

My favorite subjects are orchids (duh!!) and other flowers, birds, animals, veggies & fruit, quirky bits of Central Park and New York City. I've also got a lot of yarn and knitting shots here, since I use Flickr for Ravelry uploads.
