Welcome to my world ......
I'm from Sweden and live near the sea in Gothenburg.
In my profession I am a behavioral scientist who 10 years ago began a new direction in textile design. Since I was a kid I loved to collect and work with fabrics. Today I have the entire family's collection of linen, lace, buttons, yarn in my possession.
Today I have a large studio of almost 120 square meters where I work.
I work in a medium known as mini-art quilt. My work is designed as collages, and it is as much about touch as the vision. I usually combine cotton, linen, silk, cheesecloth and paper, and I am applying surface design techniques including dyeing, painting, discharge, printing, screening, rust, and sewing. Texture is often colored tones.
Taking photos is also another part of my interest and I have 2 cameras Nikon D40 and D300, which I frequently use.
In my blog I try to document my work and my collections for children and grandchildren and other interested parties.
