I am a pharmacist and lover of all animals. I am happily married to my husband, Matt, who didn't know the joys that animals can bring until he met me. Now we have 12 dogs (all rescued) and 6 horses (4 purchased - our DREAM horses; and two rescued horses). I started NCARES, a non-profit animal education and rescue group, in 2003 to help some of the homeless and neglected animals in my area.
