I'm a 40-something male, living in Denmark.

Most of the pictures I take are holiday snapshots. I'm not pretending, that they have any artistic value whatsoever. That being said, let me add, that I'm aiming for "better than average" when it comes to basic technical skills.

Once in a while, by pure luck, I manage to shoot something that other people like ;)

Post-processing? Yes, I do that. Tweak the saturation and colour balance, add a little contrast, improve composition by cropping the image. To me it's like women and makeup. Smearing lipstick on a pig won't make it a model, but on a model it could mean the difference between "nice" and "stunning".

The SX1 is equipped with a Lensmate adapter, so that I can use 58mm filters.
