My name is Andrew Jackson, I am an amateur nature and wildlife photographer born and raised in the Bruce Peninsula along Georgian Bay Ontario Canada now living in Southern Ontario.

It wasn't until recently 2006 when I picked up my fist digital point and shoot camera that I became fascinated with photography and started to capture images of nature along with spending time out in my favorite areas it was quick to become my main hobby for the past two years.
After the first year with my basic kodak camera I found my self more interested in the technical aspect of photography wanting more out of my photos, after all having a max focal length of 102mm is hardly adequate for shooting wildlife. Unable to afford a quality SLR and lenses I set my sights on upgrading to a more advanced P&S, after lots of research I found that Sony's H series was the best fit for my needs and settled with the DSC-H5 model. This new camera again opened up a whole new world for me with much further zoom range and manual control allowing me to be more creative.

After only two years I have built up quite the collection of photos constantly trying to improve my skills and captures of specific wildlife, learning and seeing something new every time I go out into the field. Visiting my galleries you will notice I have a wide range shooting interests, some more so then others.
