I've been photographing trains for about 20 years now on various railfanning trips (galleries at www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=4770, RRPictureArchives, and Wikipedia), now it's time to explore the more artistic sides of photography. I'm still learning, so bear with me.
I've returned to school to work on a career change. I've had enough of computer support and programming (at least for now), and I'm entering the photography program at MATC. Classes start on August 25. I'm enrolled in Composition, Electronic Design, Studio 1 and Lighting 1, and there will be lots of photos coming out of these classes to share.
Let's see where this adventure takes me now...
I've noticed lately that I tend to take more vertical format images than I do horizontal format images. I don't specifically set out to take shots in this format, I just end up happier with what I get this way.
