I'm an environmental scientist and writer living in Aberdeen, Scotland. I'm a keen cyclist, compete in triathlons, and I get about a bit. Many of my shots are about trying to capture the ineffable on camera: I'm topographically synaesthetic.

I have a Canon Ixus and an HTC Desire S. I love the Little Orange Box on Retrocamera. One day I'd like to get a digital SLR. Paint Shop Pro is my weapon of choice for digital effects..
