I am a retired Principal of a secondary school in Malaysia. I graduated from the University of Guelph in Ontario Canada in 1970 with a Bachelor of Agric Sc (Hons) and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's Univeristy, Ontario, Canada in 1971. I am interested in horticulture and had taught the subject to trainee teachers when I was a lecturer in horticulture in one of teachers' training college in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
I am married with three children. Eldest daughter is a journalist, second daughter is working for Barnes & Nobel in Glendale, Los Angeles and my son is working as a animation graphic artist. My wife has retired from government service while I am working after retirement as an editor / writer for a publishing company.
From a religious point of view I am a Theravada Buddhist while my eldest daughter and son are Christians. There is great tolerance on my part in terms of religious beliefs as I feel all religions teach us to be better people.
My hobbies include IT stuff, photography and listening to my collection of jazz, new age and acoustic guitar music.
