I'm a nature lover at heart who also loves photography! I'm passionate about animals, the outdoors, and all kinds of beauty and wonder. I live in Virginia. I have a 14 year old girl and an 12 year old boy, and we all love "critters!"

I mostly shoot with a Nikon D80. I have the Nikkor 80-400mm 4.5-5.6 VR lens, which I sometimes use with a 1.4x teleconverter. For flowers and lots of other things I sometimes use my husband's 70-200mm F2.8VR lens. I have a close-up filter (the Canon500D) which screws onto the end of my 80-400mm lens which I use for macros.

I truly appreciate all the visitors to my stream and the kind comments. I have some great contacts which I really enjoy corresponding with. Thanks for visiting my Flickr Photos and sharing my view of the world through the camera's lens.
