I am relaxed, easy going and have a British sense of humour. I have two daughters in their 20s and a wife from the Philippines.

My interests are many and varied but include an appreciation of traditional art and illustration ( unfortunately I cannot even draw a stick figure, but that doesn't dull my appreciation), cryptic crosswords, ancient European history, uniforms and weaponry, philately, browsing junk shops, childrens illustrated books and the unexplained.

Hobbies are collecting curios and bric-a-brac, treasure hunting, writing lewd Limericks and short stories and researching the history of the many finds I make with my metal detector.

Pet hates: Bad drivers (myself included), food packaging that needs a chainsaw to open it, garlic, crowded places, rap music, the 21st century !

I drink, I smoke and I swear......does that make me bad?
