I love smocking and sewing. Working on learning how to draft patterns. I try to enter at least one thing in the county fair each year.

I live by the beach, and love to in-line skate on the strand. I have two wonderful kids. I ride my bike everywhere that I can, and I have a bike trailer to put groceries and other shopping in.

We are a very musical family, we all play instruments: violin, cello, oboe, viola. So there is lots of noise.

I spend way too much time sewing for my American girl dolls. I always wanted one when they first came out, but did not get one until my daughter turned four. She has her dolls and I have mine :)

I have participated in a few doll quilt swaps, place mat swaps, and am in my first pincushion swap. I love quilts that are a bit artsy. I tend to make quilts with applique. I do not like red and yellow together. I like purple only in small quantities. I love to sew by hand.

I love shopping for fabric- the closest fabric store to me is a Jo Ann's- which I hate. My favorite fabric store where I learned to smock closed two years ago, and fabric life has just not been the same...

I am going to be going back to school in September to study costume design.
