Ours is a simples life - Vott could possibles go wrong?





Hi, I'm from Newton Abbot in the south-west of England.
I have been interested in photography since the mid seventies - I started with a simple 126 kodak but soon made the step to 35mm in the form of a Zorki 4k (bit of a pain but it taught me a lot about the basics) Then came the big step - A Zenith B my first SLR, still had to carry around a light meter and make calculations though!
In the early eighties I moved on to a Pentax K1000 then an ME super and then an MZm.
When digital SLR's became affordable I invested in a Pentax *ist and Wow! my interest in photography got much more intense. I now use a Pentax K20D with grip and find this thing amazing.
I still take pictures with film - I use a Pentax MZ7 for black and white and I use a Pentax MZ50 for colour film.
All the lenses are interchangeable and all the cameras use my flash units (Pentax af540fgz and af360fgz)
Even after all this time of photography being my number one hobby - I am still learning and still make more mistakes than I would like!
I must say that Flickr is fantastic! I'm learning so much from looking at other people's photographs.
My other weaknesses are large fast motorbikes - My current bike is a Honda CBR1100xx Superblackbird - - -





and my old Mercedes Benz





- Both of which provide more photographic opportunities!
