I'm 60 and a retired librarian. I've been taking photos for years, but photography is like poker - if you think you're good at it, you're probably about to meet someone a lot better! All I know is, I still have a lot to learn.
I've just moved up from an el-chipo FujiFilm FinePix A400 to a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS, and it's going to take me a long time to figure out what-all I can do with it!
Until 7-2010, I didn't do any post-exposure editing. When you see my photos from before then, that's what it actually looked like. But I'm a recent convert to the improvements that DIMming (digital image manipulation) can produce in a photo, and will be working with enhancement software on some photos.
