WV Ron's photostream

WV Ron is a husband, father, grandfather, who enjoys photography, outdoors, home DIY, science fiction. My wife, Susan, and I relocated to Evans, West Virginia, from the Morgantown area in December 2008.

I've been doing photography for over 30 years, and have now converted to digital. During this time, I have done most of my work for myself, with some newspaper and wedding work, as well as serving as an official or unofficial photographer for some organizations I've been associated with.

I'm also encouraging three of my (adult) children to try their hand at photography.

As a result of my children & my wife Susan's encouragement, I have started my photography business, "West Virginia Fine Photography." I am available for commercial & business work, weddings, on location portraits, and other special events. Click on my website (below) to find out more about my business.

In April of 2009, I became the official photographer for the Ripley Volunteer Fire Department, and post some of those images here, on my website, and on my page for the International Fire Photographers Association.

As of November 2010, I've also become the Director of Fire Rescue TV's Ohio Valley Division 11. I will be recruiting photographers and videographers to work with Fire Rescue TV, which will act as a marketer for their images to local and network television, video producers and online media.
