I never use a tripod, unless I’m taking a self-portrait. If I feel that I need extra support, I’ll simply prop my camera on top of Captain Creepy’s head and adjust him as per needed.

"I love Ella's work! It is replete with a wide variety of images, whimsical, serious, and, uh, creepy. Duh. With a name like hers she pretty much has to put up some creepy things, but it's not in any manner gratuitous. Or heavy handed. Her creepiness is often quite subtle, and often quite striking. She really knows how to layer on the mood, conveying the qualities of an older soul in many of her images. I always enjoy her photostream and never know what to expect. It's fun and beautiful and that's a helluva combination!
