45 years old, proud mother of 22 year old college graduate, living on the beautiful Oregon coast. I'm sarcastic, enthusiastic, and probably a little crazy. I'm nuts about quilts and handmade crafty goodness: making them, reading about them, and looking at other peoples works of art. I am addicted to swapping, and am a Swap Mama in many groups. I LOVE black/white/red. A combo of those or each on their own. I also love blue, purple, teal, turquoise. I'm not really into artsy type quilts or anything wonky or free pieced. I love polka dots, 30's prints, whimsical fabrics, and fun bright colors (Anything paired with black or white). I also love movies (the Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite) and books, white tigers, dogs, fun people, and drag queens!
I also collect sewing related lapel pins and handmade pincushions. I love any handmade crafty item!
Give a quilter an inch, she'll think she's a ruler!

"I met Kimmie through flickr groups, and she and I seemed to have so much in common! We both love the Wizard of Oz, and collecting hat pins...Oh, and there's that whole "quilting" thing... In one of my groups, I posted Wizard of Oz fabric that I was sending out to members to make me a block with. She commented that she would like to make me a block too! How could I say "no"? Since then, we've become good friends, swapping hat pins and what else? Wizard of Oz minis! I'm so glad I got to meet her! She also happens to be a fabulous swap Mom! (Just in case you didn't know!) Her work is top rate and she's a very talented quilter! I don't know how she works and quilts as prolifickly as she does! :-)"
