humanist, dad, optimist, visual artist, writer, nature lover, animal lover, music lover (with a terrible singing voice)... self-contained and independent, a bit eccentric, lots of focus "in the moment" hence easily distracted by things i see, wacky sense of humor that's a two-way filter and visual/conceptual overlay on the world around me. many of my mental uploads and downloads tickle my fancy.
photography is a big passion. it provides creative satisfaction, and it's one of the most intimate connections to my artist soul.
while i have a lot of technological expertise in graphic design apps and hand tools and power tools (and I do love Macs, digital cameras, strobes, photo-quality printers, the internet, fast cars, table saws, bicycles, LED flashlights, firearms, custom knives, high-res hi-fi, bicycles, backpacking gear, etc), if my situation was just a little bit different and i could afford it, i'd move to a tall mountain that had four seasons, taking with me only my heart and soul, my Life Partner, and survival's basic essentials -- leaving behind as much technology as possible.
