Photography has always been of interest to me, but I only just picked up a camera in earnest a couple of years ago, and decided to explore both the world surrounding us and my own creative expression through this medium. I've learned alot just from viewing the works of the many talented photographers here on flickr. My approach is quite simple and more inclined to realism and naturalism, than to processing. I shoot with a DSLR (Nikon d80) but will admit that I'm more comfortable with old school methods with little technique or manipulation, like Polaroid. I've recently taken the first steps to learning a new genre of photography, on the street, to capture life's rich narrative as it unfolds daily.
