Ola, here we are :) I'm a maths & physics graduate pursuing my DPhil research in astrophysics at the university of Oxford. Have got multiple hobbies, one of which, as you should have deduced by now, is photography :D
I started out in photography by experimenting in astrophotography using specialized astronomical CCD cameras and a Celestron 8" Computerized Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, employing techniques much harder and time-consuming than those of "general" photography. Then I started dabbling in photography using a Film SLR camera (the Pentax P30). In 2008 I bought my first digital SLR - the Nikon D300, which I simply love :)
I'm currently using the Nikon D300 in combination with the following lenses:
