I am a young man in my mid-twenties. I am a writer. I am also a perpetual student. I believe in the Hemingway code. I participate in the more aesthetically leasing aspects of what many consider to be "extreme" sports. I surf but rarely ride anything but heavy longboards or small fishes. I skate but rarely jump down stuff and feel much more comfortable sliding the coping of a mini-ramp or small bowl. I ride a track bike but do not do power-slides or tricks, I enjoy the flow and simplicity of such minimalist bikes.
I have worked as a journalist, a salesman, a carpenter, a framer, a barista and as the frontman to an angsty hardcore band.
I have faith in Nothing. I believe in Love but do not believe it is forever, much the opposite: Love is fleeting and short-lived--much like life itself--and should be cherished when it is present and not mourned when it is lost. We are here for a very short while and should accrue as much experience as possible, knowing that this life is all we have.
