1 Riverrat's photostream
|
Hi, I am legally blind from Retinitis Pigmentosa. I was always intimidated by a camera and computer until March, 2007,when I decided to give both of them a try. My photos are just snap shots of my everyday life. I have Zoom Text on my computer, a magnification and reader program. Hope you enjoy some of my photos. Thanks so much for your visit. Riverrat

Oberazzi says:
"Riverrat is a prolific photographer with a great eye for aging rural America, especially buildings, railroad and farm equipment. He has great shots of old barns, rows of tractors, and speeding trains.
Riverrat's eye for photography comes despite legal blindness. Fortunately for us, he found his way to the Blind Photographers group, where he is our top contributor. Riverrat has been and continues to be a big part of our community and his eye is an inspiration for us all."5th November, 2008

"I so much enjoy coming to his photostream. Glad he decided to give both the computer and the camera a chance. Am sure it has made a big deifference in his life. It has mine I have been able to see all of his wonderful photos and the life around him. Keep on shooting and keep on posting. Happy Flickr days for him."

"I am new to flickr myself and Keith is one of my first contacts here. I have really enjoyed his train series and especially the recent barn and old building series. I think he has great instincts for documentary photography. Although I don't comment much I have still followed his photo stream with interest and admiration. Thanks for giving me view into the history of our country.
