Hmm.... I'm a wife, daughter, friend. A vegan and a valentine baby. A teacher of students who are visually impaired. I have fun sewing/quilting, trying new vegan recipes, walking on the beach, watching the sky change colors at dusk, reading southern fiction, watching sweet/sappy movies, sketching, painting, traveling and kicking back with my hubby.

QUILTS: I love cotton-candy sugar-sweet colors of the 20's/30's whimsical repro fabrics, as well as the Lecien little-bitty print fabrics. Gnomes are some of my new favorites since the DQS8. The Patisserie fabrics by Fig Tree are calling my name, even if the colors are out of my comfort zone... they seem warm and inviting. To me, quirky and wonky is a good thing. Fresh/modern is where its at! Cute little modern embellishments... chubby little birds or rabbits are fun for me. I thought I could most likely live without primary colors, gold/olive, black/white, but i see creative folks use them very well!
