When a serious photographer thinks of taking a picture it’s his instinct to look for a good photograph, or to try to make a good photograph. And this underlying desire ruins a photo. Only a few geniuses were able to produce images that carry no striving to be good. Meantime, life creates an infinite amount of pictures without even straining itself. Doesn’t that “infinite” mean that all possible pictures were already taken? And we are just left with the easy task of simply picking the good ones?
