I've been a resident of the Kingdom of Flickr for 3 years now, having been drawn into its habit-forming vortex by friend Frank Synopsis who came to my house and took such fabulous photos of my junk. Thinking that perhaps I should catalog some of my items for the world & posterity, I leaped into the fray.
I have a borrowed camera for now, so I'm mixing lots of scans with whatever I can photograph in a hurry...
It's a slow process, but I'm trying to document my 1953 "Ugh House" & Volcano and all therein, including all things vintage 50's, pulp fiction, comics, vintage children's books, odd LPs, sock monkeys, bath products, old 60's trolls, tiki, old holiday stuff, bar ware, gnomes, aquarium castles, the hidden world of doilies, drive-thru tree items, globes, games, vintage desk accessories, knick-knacks, gimcracks and gew-gaws. Someday, someday....
Meanwhile, this place called Flickr and its denizens are fascinating & somewhat addicting. It's a pleasure to be here!
