I'm 37 years old, born in Darmstadt/Germany-live since 2007 in Hayward, California.
what I like: Mountains (favorite Regions: the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California and the European Alps with lots of milky glacier filled streams and lakes), turquoise colored Rivers in Slovenia or the Verzasca in Switzerland, Great White Sharks, Brown Bears, Snow, Coast Redwoods in Northern California and Giant Sequoias in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, White-Water Rivers lke the incredible Upper Cherry Creek in California (which is still my dream to photograph one day), Soccer, Old Master Paintings (my favorite is Caravaggio), Gorges (like the Partnachklamm and Breitachklamm in the Bavarian Alps or the Seisenbergklamm in Austria), Ice Caves like the Eisriesenwelt near Werfen in Austria, the Mojave Desert and Death Valley in California, Nature-Photography and since a couple of weeks I'm fascinated with light painting....
I am shooting with a Canon 5D Mark2 and a 17-40L Lens and do most of my processing work with CS4
