I started out rescuing dogs 11 years ago when I married my husband who lives in the country. People to my amazement would drive their dog to the country and push them out into the cold world with nothing. They would wander to my door, The first year I lived here seven dogs were dropped.

I began 2 years ago working with a rescue to adopt dogs out in the Northern States, but that has pretty much dried up as they are taking exception to Southern dogs being shipped into the area when they have their own dogs in shelters.

Everyone loves puppies, so most of the time the puppies get adopted, but the mother dogs usually end up staying here, so at this point I am a sanctuary, not a rescue. We have over 50 dogs, 8 cats, and one ferret. All the females are spayed, (And we are working toward getting all the male dogs neutered, but it's pricey.)

I shoot a Sony DSLR, I have been pleased with the capabilities of this camera, with the exception of ISO noise. SO, unless Sony introduces something full frame with low noise I will be changing systems, which is a big hassle. Outdoors, in sunlight, Sony captures true color and does a magnificent job, indoors in low light, you have a problem. Since I shoot students, babies and weddings I will have to make the change. It's a little frustrating. :)

If you comment my photos, I'll comment yours. It may take me a minute as I have so much to do with all these animal babies. I appreciate your friendship and encouragement.
