My name is Helga and I'm 18 years old. I'm from Iceland and I live in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland and I have lived there for my whole life. In the future I'd like to live in the USA. Maybe some of you want to know why I want to live in the USA, I can tell you that. There are some places in the USA that are warmer than Iceland(in Iceland it's usually 0*C and lower but usually not lower than -10*C and in the summer it's about 10-20*C so many of you think that's kinda cold). I also like all the trees in the USA, there are so many big trees and also the flowers in the USA are so many but of course there are some flowers in the USA that are also in Iceland. I also like the language English and there are so many beautiful houses in the USA and also there is like a one bathroom for each bedroom! That's something I would love to have.

Okay...I have loved photography since I was 11 or 12 years old(can't remember). I have been taking photos since I got my first camera(Canon PowerShot A75). Then I got a new point and shoot camera(Canon PowerShot A570 IS). Those are both point and shoot cameras. Recently I have been using my dad's DSLR camera of the type Canon EOS Digital Rebel. Later I'll buy my own DSLR camera.

I use Photoshop CS5 to edit my photos.

I'm not sure if I want to go professional but I'll just wait and see. Right now I have no idea what I want to do in the future.

I enjoy taking pictures of kids, it's just so much fun! I take mostly photos of my 8 year old sister. Sometimes she doesn't like it but she won't have to be my photo model when I grow up and have kids. LOL
