My Website
My name is Jared, I'm 19 and self taught. I like taking pictures.
Photography and performing are my two great passions. Photography is art, my personal work allows me to express my thoughts, feelings and emotions.
My photography clients include NZ band Poppy Dust, singer/songwriter Tia and Energy Theatre, as well as many performers.
As a performer I made my first professional appearance at the age of 12 in the NBR New Zealand Opera Company's production of Giacomo Puccini's 'Tosca', and then George Bizet's 'Carmen' the following year. Since then I have performed in many Musicals including Cats, The King and I, Bat Boy: The Musical, Miss Saigon and four productions of Les Miserables. I played Flat Top in the 2009 NZ Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express. Most recently I appeared as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, I am currently rehearsing for the 2010 Wellington season of Cabaret for which I also have done publicity photos.
