I am married with 2 great children ages 18 and 22. My son has really helped me out with taking pictures. He is great. My daughter has given me lots of opportunities to take pictures. She is wonderful.
I need to learn a lot about photography. I love to take pictures of lights and color. Many years ago (about 21) I had a Canon AE-1 program camera- actually I had 2 of them. I messed around with it a lot and then had children and didn't have the time. Now that my children (my son mostly) are into photography it is giving me the inspiration to start with it again.

"Cindi was one of the first people to recognize my light painting and give me the positive feedback I needed to tart on this journey into light painting. Thanks to her kindness and appreciation, I have found my new favorite hobby.

Her light work is phenomenal to say the least. Her light creations leave me baffled and intrigue me to push my own work to new levels. My appreciation for this artist will continue. Keep up the excellent work!"

"Cindi was one of the first people I interacted with on Flickr. She is incredibly kind and has taught me many things. I enjoy sharing ideas and knowledge with her. Her light painting is incredible. Her and her son are always creating new techniques and every series is so different than the previous. She has also been great in helping to lead the Light Junkies group which I really appreciate. She is valuable asset to the light art community."

"She has been a big inspiration to me. We've worked together for nearly a year now trying to come up with creative ideas and simulating things we see around us. She has always been a big help when I thought up something she would sit down and chat with me about it. I think that she has grown a lot as a photographer over the past year. When we first started lighting painting she had no idea on how to set her settings on her camera and what to use to get a good shot. I think that from getting into the low light photography it's not only helped her with light painting but also knowing what to do in the day light and not being one of those people who just leaves their camera on program and lets the camera decide what to do. I don't think I could ask for someone better to go out and take photographs with."
