My name is Mark and I live just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne but I was brought up as a child at the coast in Cullercoats. I tend to spend the bulk of my time taking photographs in the NE of England, predominantly in the area to the north of the Tyne, however I do try and combine my interest in walking in the scottish hills with photography.

I have come back to photography after a little break whilst the digital era settled itself in. I used to take slides many years ago but digital in the early days just did not come up to scratch and was way too expensive for anything which would come remotely close to my existing film kit.

I welcome all constructive feedback as this is always a learning game and opinions and suggestions can often speed improvement.
