I love embroidering; it's the only craft that I don't get sick of (although I've yet to let go of my stained glass tools or scrapbooking materials)... I've been doing hand embroidery since late 2004 (a veritable record for me). :)

I typically embroider along the edges of pillowcases, but in February 2010 began embroidering a plain white, queen-sized duvet and the matching shams (still bed linens, but whatever). The idea is to just embroider a hodge-podge of patterns that appeal to me. I think it will take months or years, but I don't think I care about that. I'm enjoying it immensely. :)

It's a bit like sewing onto a wedding dress, what with all of the fabric I have to manuever around to get to the hoop to stitch. I think that is why I stick myself with needles quite frequently - not on purpose, and not so fond of that, either. :P
