I am in my late 50's and work as a carpenter for my living. I have been into photography since I was young, My first real photo was of a canon at the Tower of London. It was black and white on 120mm film and taken using a Kodak Brownie that my mum gave me.
Many, many, many years later things have got a whole lot more sophisticated with the advent of digital photography and my ever growing knowledge of the medium. My main interest is catching a moment in time through my travels and discovering new places, both home and abroad.
I am only one half of the partnership with my wife Chrissie Shepherd (chrissiewight) well known for her images of nature and wildlife who is also crazy about photography. I will always maintain that even if you have only the shortest of an artistic streaks you can take a good photograph.

All my photographs are copyright and I would appreciate it if they were not used or copied without permission. Please don't add graphics with you comments, I will not be happy.

    Urban Digital says:

"GRIP is a wonderful photographer, talented and creative beyond words with an amazing eye for detail, colors, expression and light. His love for the art of photography is shown in his work; he is a stunning example and an inspiration to all photographers
I don't write many testimonials, but in GRIP's case I felt It must be said that he is one, if not the best photographer I have ever had the chance to enjoy on Flickr.

Keep up the brilliant work mate"
