Photography and Videography have always interested me. I bought a very nice Nikon 35mm camera when I was in high school, but it was stolen after owning it only a few months. I've explored some videography and really enjoyed working as an assistant videographer for weddings.

A few years ago, I bought an Olympus C5050Z 5 MP digital camera and fell in love with the digital world. I recently bought the Nikon D40x and I'm starting to explore the opportunities that DSLR bring.

I find that I am most comfortable with macro work, some landscapes, and a little portrait work. I have been doing basketball photos since about May 2008. I find indoor sports are a lot more difficult than macro and landscapes in that you only get one chance at "the shot" and you have to have fast glass and high ISO capability.

* Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR
* Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 Macro
* Nikkor 85mm (1.4 or 1.8) I like the price of the 1.8 and the bokeh of the 1.4 :-(
