I haven't much profound knowledge to share in my little profile block here, but what I can say is that at the moment - and hopefully for some time to come - photography has taken over. I can't soak in enough info, try out enough gear, or take enough photos.

I set up my own black and white darkroom back in high school, quit some time during college, and in 2008 picked up my first digital SLR. Since then, like I said, I just can't get enough. I've found Flickr incredibly helpful for making me a better photographer. The members here are really great at offering feedback, and explaining how they were able to take the shots that I admire.
