I accidentally brought home two harmless looking phal hybrids in 2005. It was one of the most terrible and wonderful mistakes I have ever made in my life. 5 years later, I'm in over my head with about 50-60 miniature-small growing orchid species.

I've gravitated towards Angraecoid orchids (Aeranthes, Angraecum, Aerangis etc...) that originate from Madagascar, and East Africa. I also grow nigrohirsute dendrobiums from South East Asia.

Flickr is one of the most amazing places I've found on the interweb, and I'm so glad to connect with so many growers and photographers from around the world. I've recently started exploring photography with a new Canon Xsi, and I got my first macro lens (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM) second hand 5 months ago. Advice is always welcome.
