I enjoy photography as a hobby. Having grown up on a farm in Saskatchewan, I was always very close to nature. That still sticks with me as a focus for my photography. Landscapes, birds and animals are favorites but I enjoy all aspects of it. A long time standby was a pentax spotmatic F. I was convinced it couldn't get any better than that and refused to move to the automatic age. Then I received a digital camera as a gift for a big birthday and now the learning curve is steep.Each day of practise allows me to move away from the automatic settings and into more creative modes.
