ABOUT ME


Challenges will help me to further develop and fine-tune my artistic voice. Art, in my opinion, should be able to successfully communicate a multitude of messages to different audiences and cultures within many societies around the world and spanning centuries.

Photography has strengthened my interests in graphic design and Motion Graphics. My experiences with photography began just a few years ago. The fact that several people can photograph the same location and make them appear to be completely different through manipulation and control of lighting and exposure is simply amazing. Combining photography and web design is an excellent way to communicate ideas and stories through art into reality.

Art has always been a huge part of who I am as a person and this is something that I hope to expand upon as a student, individual, and artist into the future. It was not until taking a course related to Western art and its impact on Western culture through architecture, painting, and sculpture that I became certain that it was my calling. All disciplines within the field of art interest me a great deal and it is difficult to choose just one. This is the reason that I hope to incorporate all of them into my career upon completing my educational goals in the Visual Arts at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

I focus on Graphic Design, photography, short films, Interactive Design and motion graphics. I consider myself a interactive designer.
