Hey there, my name is Claire. I grew up in South Africa, have lived in England and now live in Southern California which, I think, has helped to give me a well-rounded view of the world and an appreciation for different cultures and ways of life. It's made me realize that there is more than one way of looking at something--which comes in handy with photography.

I have always had an appreciation for beautiful and creative photographs, but only really started learning what I could do with my Nikon during the earlier part of 2009. I am still learning, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this journey and loving the world that photography has introduced me to!

I particularly enjoy nature and still life photography as well as anything with pretty colors and every day objects that catch my eye and lately I've been getting into doing portraits, which I'm enjoying.
