"I've admired Wjosna's work for sometime but only recently have come to know her a little. her style is clearly recognizable .. striking drama illuminated by the most heavenly light. for me, the subject of her images IS the light, and sometimes I find myself studying the lit subject only secondarily.
poet Minnie Aumonier said 'there is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it.' to me that describes well her approach to photography. wjosna has the rare ability to quiet all around her until she sees the music in her head that she intends to record on 'film.' I am honored to have her as a friend."

It was a pleasant surprise to meet her on Flickr. I had seen one or the other postings every now and then, but she only became my contact a short time ago and I regret the wasted time, because it is a delight to be on wjosna´s stream.
