These are a few of my favorite things... rainy cookie-baking days, old-fashioned letter writing, my flock of chickens... pearl, flossie, olga, phoebe, cora, henny-penny, edith, and opal... honey bees, laundry hanging on a clothesline flapping in the breeze, crafting, trying new recipes, seeking out well-worn treasures at yard sales and disorganized antique shops... it's all about the hunt... my husband who has always supported my efforts and endeavors, three artsy creative daughters who inspire my own creative spirit, my three grandchildren's unending excitement for life that encourages me to learn something new each day and to find joy in little things, cutting garden flowers... especially cosmos growing willy nilly, pincushion flower... can't help but love the name... morning dew on lady's mantle leaves, peony's fragrance, gomphrena "crystals" glistening in the sunlight, Ammi Graceland's airy bouquet filler, hollyhocks, majestic sunflowers, long-blooming dahlias, herb garden, and heirloom veggie garden.
